What is Industrial Hygiene?
Industrial hygiene by definition is the science and art devoted to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of those environmental factors which may cause sickness, impaired health and well-being, or significant discomfort and inefficiency among workers.
OSHA has developed and mandated many health requirements in more than six million U.S. workplaces. These requirements include air contaminants and chemical, biological, physical, and ergonomic hazards.
How Can We Help?
Our Industrial Hygienists specialize in monitoring industrial air quality with special emphasis on Asbestos, Hexavalent Chromium, Silica and other air contaminants. Many of our hygienists are certified Ohio EPA Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialists, capable of bulk sample identification and air clearance sampling.
Noise monitoring and sound surveying are available to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Additional services provided are mold identification, legionella testing and indoor air quality.
We can provide BW and MSA 4 and 5 gas monitors. Also PIDs and Single Gas monitors are available.
We calibrate and service many types of air monitoring equipment and are a Factory Authorized Technician.
